Memory Lane Auto Sofas
You select a year, color and model car you would like to make a sofa out of. The factory will locate that clip and bring it to their shop. They sandblast all the rust off and then proceed building the sofa. They use a 3/4 inch mellowmean for the back. They do all the necessary body work and then begin the painting process.
The paint is DuPont base coat, clear coat which is a very durable paint that will not fade in years to come as does lacquer paint. They do not use any spot putty that would shrink and show sand scratches later. All of the chrome trim is either new or replated. All of the appropriate rubber gaskets are used, such as around taillights on a '56 Chevy. On a '56 Chevy, as you may remember, the left taillight opened for the gas filler tube. All of that is authentically reproduced with the gas filler tube and cap in place.
